Smithsonian Learning Lab

The Smithsonian Learning Lab inspires the discovery and creative use of the Smithsonian Institution’s rich digital materials—more than a million images, recordings, and texts. Visitors create collections, and personalize them by adding their own notes and tags and incorporating discussion questions. Check out collections created by National Portrait Gallery staff and teachers from around the country (attending the museum’s Learning to Look Summer Teacher Institute). We hope you will be inspired to bring these ideas and lessons into your classroom.
